We currently maintain around 14 horses in our stable and are always looking for new owners to join our stable. Joe Pavia Jr. had a driving accident on 6/27/16 in 12th race at Pocono Downs. The totter he was driving was on the front end and made a break just before the 1/4 pole as Joe attempted to take the horse off the course to the inside, as there was a horse outside of him, the horse jumped the pylon and lunged back toward the track.

Joe Pavia Jr. recently announced his official retirement from harness racing driving to concentrate on training full-time. Pavia still recovering from accident - Harness Racing

Pavia, who has a stable of horses at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, said he still feels the effects of a concussion sustained in a racing accident at the Meadowlands on June 16, in which he was unseated. Pavia landed very hard on the track and sustained a concussion and an arm injury. He also is receiving therapy for the arm injury.
