KIEFT RACING and SPORTS CARS was founded by the Welsh industrialist Cyril Kieft in 1949. Kieft Cars successfully manufactured Formula 1 , Formula 3 and Sports racing cars up until 1961 from there Welsh works at a former Munitions factory in Bridgend and from 1953 in a new production Reliance Works factory in Wolverhampton.
