Koni will improve upon factory dampers at a drag strip. You may explore Koni's new Active Suspension dampers, too. Ultimately, you want to be controlling the spring so the tire stays smashed to the ground. I know too many people with noisy Viking shocks to look into them any more than I ever have, but maybe those issues have been resolved.
