the only way to fix the bug is to have the latest Steam executable for the game, however, doing so means you can have no mods because steam's kotor 2 executable can not be messed with. manually replacing it with an older one, so that cut content can work, means you have a version where swooping is bugged. so you must make a choice.

I installed Kotor 2 with the last version of TSLRCM (1.8.3b) and M4-78EP 1.1B Everytime I start a swoop race game on Telos, my bike is stuck in the roof and I'm not able to win the race. I know that this bug was fixed in the officials patchs and I saw a post from a moderator saying that all officials patchs are already included in the game.

level 1 Mr_Blah1 · 3y Darth Nihilus Yes. There's a glitch in KOTOR's swoop racing where if you forfeit a race, any subsequent races on that track will also auto-lose. yea i cant play the swoop racing in kotor 2 its a lot harder with being forced to jump over the obstacles it was way easier in kotor 1 took me a few tries but i did it. If done correctly, the clock will not stop, and the point where you hit the wall is listed as your final time. Regarding getting better at swoop racing, a recent trick I found in the original KOTOR is that you go faster without hitting the final engine shift.
