Here's a hint: In KotOR I, you could just use the keyboard and it was much easier. A-D to move, Space to shift gears. In II, you have to jump as well, and you can't do that with the keyboard, so you have to use the mouse at the same time. The problem is, moving the mouse also moves you left and right. So I suggest only using the mouse.

the only way to fix the bug is to have the latest Steam executable for the game, however, doing so means you can have no mods because steam's kotor 2 executable can not be messed with. manually replacing it with an older one, so that cut content can work, means you have a version where swooping is bugged. so you must make a choice.
