Yeah - Swoop racing in KOTOR II just plain sucks. Far too complex for a mini-game, and not nearly as entertaining as it was in 1. Also - I've heard that it's broken in the PC version, where you can never actually win - if you ever did well enough to win the game would crash - don't know if that's still the case or not...

33. herecomethe2000: In contrast, I edited GoG's .exe with the UniWS patcher available at the wsgf.org site. edited the swkotor2.ini with my display settings and downloaded the appropriate HUD file for the override folder (16:10 for me with 1680x1050) and everything (including swoop racing) works just fine in the high resoultion!

7 Jun, 2014 @ 6:59pm. yea i cant play the swoop racing in kotor 2 its a lot harder with being forced to jump over the obstacles it was way easier in kotor 1 took me a few tries but i did it. Maybe the developers at obsidian thought the swoop racing was too easy. no idea good luck i agree its ridiculous.

the only way to fix the bug is to have the latest Steam executable for the game, however, doing so means you can have no mods because steam's kotor 2 executable can not be messed with. manually replacing it with an older one, so that cut content can work, means you have a version where swooping is bugged. so you must make a choice.

Darth Nihilus Yes. There's a glitch in KOTOR's swoop racing where if you forfeit a race, any subsequent races on that track will also auto-lose.
