Larisa Yurkiw Larisa Yurkiw has been ski racing internationally since 2005. Following a knee injury that sidelined Larisa for two full seasons, she was cut from the National Ski Team in April 2013. As the only Canadian female racing 130km/hr, she started Team Larisa as her launchpad to being amongst the fastest skiers in the world.
