Reynolds did not buy Lew they hired a guy who had a company that went bust. Reynolds must have bought the wheel technology from the bankrupt LEW Wheels. They can't legally just start making LEW copies just because they hired the owner of LEW Wheels if the tehnology and patents belong to the now bankrupt company.
