The Litchfield Track Club was born out of the first Litchfield Hills Road Race in 1977. The members, mostly adults smitten with the running boom of the ‘70’s, donned the original black singlets with white lettering and took to the roads for races around Connecticut, and then expanded to New England and beyond.
