Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) GRM+ Member and MegaDork. 8/22/20 5:59 a.m. I've seen a lot of unusual engine choices for a Locost - hell, I started building one years ago with a VW 1.8L. I agree with the posts above, a Miata engine absolutely 100% makes the most sense today. Most people are familiar with them.
