Check the power plug (the socket that plugs into the wall) and put it into another wall socket to rule that out. Also the G25 has a small external power brick/transformer (connected to the same cord), check to make sure the plug isn't loose from the brick and make sure the same cord is plugged into the bottom of your G25 wheel unit properly also.

I switched the clutch and bread pedal and to my surprise, the clutch functioned as a break. At this point I figured the cable to be at fault.
