Discussion Starter · #1 · Jan 22, 2013 Anyone have any experience with these headers in a 63 390 4-speed car with power steering. The price seems right, they do not offer ceramic coating so if one wants that which I do it will be another $250 to $350 plus shipping to somewhere else like QC or Nitro. Carl

He bought a set of Mad Dog headers from e-bay for $400+. The picture looked just like the Hooker full race headers tha I have ($1200) but when he got them they looked like a set made for a fairlane. I didn't think that they were going to fit but they did and quite well to my surprize. It took me about two hours to install with very little mods.

Just installed my maddog headers in a 1986 f-150 with big block. Pretty much same as everyone elses problems. The truck has a 2 inch body lift and the drivers side went right in with minor inner fender trimming had to trim the coil/shock bucket on the passanger side. All in all it went pretty easy and looked nice once they were installed. Save
