The clutch is average at best. It would engage high sometimes, engage low other times, sometimes the clutch would slip, sometimes it won't. It's very inconsistent with it's durability, that being said, I could powershift the heck out of it and it would hold up perfectly under all of the power and still does.

Racing clutches are for modified cars because they hold more torque than the stock clutch. Ideally, you want the least performance clutch that will hold your car's power for a easier feeling clutch pedal and more streetable ride.. For example, the stock clutch in my TDI started slipping after I did some upgrades to it, so I had to get an aftermarket clutch to hold the power.

Unless your rules will allow the malossi clutch, many do not in sprint at least, the best is the SMC Rocket Rim. It's based on the stinger design. It requires little maintenance after break in. Hays Clutch: 180.00. This had zero issues on motor and went the longest before any issues. Many years of motor 6k clutch dumps on slicks with no issues. When I started spraying the car it actually held for a bit then started to slip in high gear on an 80 shot and started to chatter real bad. Ram HDX: 160.00.
