Hentges Racing was formed in 2000 in Minneapolis, MN as a true family endeavor. Brothers Nate and Jonny Hentges piloted the two HR Snocross entries, while Dad drove the motorhome and Mom fed the team at the track. Older brother Jer handled most of the logisitics and sister Krystal joined in, even racing herself a few times.

During his time at the University, Hentges was named to the All-American hockey team twice (1980 and 81) and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award in 1980. Finally, round three. Mark Hentges won because Mark G missed the finish line and broke out. Dave S moved to the final when Greg L broke out. We got the finalists back quickly and Mark H went .011 – 5.705 to beat Dave S, who was .018 – 5.720. Good win for Mark Hentges. Thanks again to Snap On Tools and the Dalrymple Family for the prizes.
