I'm not sure. The bracing pattern is significantly different from standard so the support braces that normally cross the lower boutthat would be scalloped aren't there. Martin will not make a standard bracing pattern 12 string with scalloped bracing. The 16 bracing doesn't appear to have braces to scallop except the short tone bars near the edge.
