So I believe the opposite is meant here. 000's have 5/16" wide bracing, while 00's have 1/4". 000's have double fingerbraces (although the earliest 14-fret 000's had single FB's, according to one of Willi's plans), 00's like yours have single FB's. 000's are not deeper than 00's, so relatively more shallow. 000's are Martin's largest guitar ...

The lower placed bridge and longer body will add to that. Keep in mind, though, that the VS is still a small body, so bite should come naturally. And the V is still a solid wood Martin with a thin, light (less units) and scalloped bracing system, so there shouldn't be a lack of fullness.

This non-wood bracing was very common on many different Martin guitars. I remember my dad’s 1945 D-18 had them and also my recently purchased 1968 00-18C has a number of “tapes” on the sides that connect the top and bottom of the guitar. It is so common that I am sure there is a discussion about these “tapes” somewhere in this forum.
