By tricking the 02 sensors. If you use a racing header or downpipe it comes with bung holes to place the 02 sensors in. In my case I had a de-fouler made which you can see clearly in my third pic above. It looks like a handle coming out of the pipe. That helps trick the 02 sensor but it likely was unnecessary.
