We have fitted both to our customers car and the MeisterR give a much better ride at soft setting, but when you turn it to stiff setting the meister r will also transform into Track suspension. off the bat id have to say that the MeisterR's are alot more compliant for road use (south lanarkshire officially has the worst roads in britian.) from my experience d2, k sport, and also bc racing are all over dampened for smooth roads …

I just fitted BC's to mine, but the RM version, not sure if they are a bit out of your budget, but i love them. I was in the same position, bc's or the crd's, but i went out in an ep3 with bc BR fitted and i loved the way it drove/handled/rode, granted the meisters could have been the same but i knew i liked them so went for them.

meister R are definetly by far the best what id call "cheap coilovers" on the market. cs2/hsds are better, but if your talking sub £600 then meister Rs are much better than apex/d2/bc racing etc as for BC racing coilovers:

Posted August 19, 2013. If going with Tein you need to spend a fair bit of cash. The budget range, IMO, are terrible. I would go with either Meister-R or HSDs. They are both very similar, the main difference is the spring rate. I believe the HSDs are a bit stiffer so it really depends what you want to use the car for.
