There’s about 2.5 million people in all of Utah. Utah has 2 racing facilities, Rocky Mountain Raceway (RMR) with its 1/4 mile dragstrip and asphalt oval and Miller Motorsports Park with its 4+ mile road course. Last night I hit up the 2nd Midnight Drag and Drift event of the year. RMR has been holding Midnight Drags since about 2001 or so.

I tried my luck at RMR fri. night. The place was packed. That was definitely the most cars for a midnight event. I got to the track at about 7pm. Paid my money, got in line, cleared tech and waited and waited. Finally made a pass at about 11:30. My reaction time really surprised me. .008, 60 foot 1.919.
