Back in the old days, racers would mix higher octane race gas and pump gas to prevent detonation (ping) in race bikes OR because they mistakenly thought they we making their stock bikes faster. Basically 28* TOTAL on race day, and a mere 12* TOTAL for everyday cruising. Was 10-12 MPH and 1+ second slower, but safe... (this was a FORD engine, so obviously timing figures are moot) Anyway, just my opinion, but if it doesn't detonate on pump gas, then I'd either run it as is, or mix with some 110 or more and turn it up.

I have hardened seats and still run leaded high octane gas in my race and high compression street engines. If I cant find a pump in a pinch I use Octane Supreme 130 (Tetraethyl Lead) but at one quart to 2 gallons of gas (raises it 16 octane) that's over $14.00 a gallon and still isn't 110 octane!!!
