All individual results will be sent in to NASTAR for National Ranking. NASTAR houses all current and past results for each individual. The Ski Challenge scoring chart is slightly different from the NASTAR chart as NASTAR changes their chart each season. For 2016-17 Ski Challenge did not change the Ski Challenge chart.

NASTAR racers earn a Resort Ranking in their age, gender and ability division after completing one NASTAR race using their single best handicap. Participants with three or more race days earn State and National Rankings within their age, gender and division. The National & Sate Ranking Handicap is an average of the best three handicaps earned on three different race days.

The NASTAR Slalom Championship will kick off the racing action. Participants will compete in a two run stubby gate slalom race where their best handicap is used to place racers. Participants are placed in either the Platinum/Gold division or the Silver/Bronze division based on the best handicap earned during the race.

NASTAR & Racing - Sugar Mountain Resort

The NASTAR races are held at Sugar Mountain on Oma’s Meadow, Saturday and Sunday at 12:00pm. Pre-registration is located in the Ski/Snowboard School until 10:45am Saturday and Sunday. On-mountain registration starts at 11:00am and ends at 11:50am prior to the 12:00pm start. All races are subject to weather and slope conditions.
