Some times when I first load into iRacing my wheel and pedals work fine but I have no force feedback. Usually if I go into options and disable force feed back, get back in the car, then go back into options an re enable force back this will be good again. Usually I just kind of live with this inconvenience.

A funny thing I have found is that if the iRacing window isn't focussed then the force feedback disappears. For example if I click on an overlay then the Feb just goes, but comes back if I click on the game. Jul 27, 2017 @ 4:44am. Fanatec 2.5 force feedback doesn't work. I've recelntly bought the new fanatec 2.5 wheelbase with the f1 rim. After the driver intallation and calibration (everything working on the wheel's software), I tried it out in iRacing as well. Everything worked well, except the force feedback on the wheel.

How do i fix the force feedback option being how it is? With a G29 turn off linear mode, turn down both Nm and min force to 0, damping 5-10 depending on car (10 for say a Pro Mazda and Skip Barber) otherwise 0 in most cars. Only focus on main strength slider. Also wheel angle is set wrong, I think G29 is 900 or 1080?

iRacing iRacings FFB is not at fault if your overdriving into every corner. Get your driving down and you'll realize its really not bad. FFB also isnt going to correct all your mistakes. In real life we feel understeer and oversteer through the seat of the pants. iRacings FFB gets light when we oversteer and heavy when we understeer.

No feedback unless you press the gas and pedal fully and turn the wheel to lock in the pitlane coming out of the garage. In no garage scenarios (like TT) if you hit a wall that can restore full function - or once you make a definite turn (often T1).
