    But apparently some of the other reasons they changed to non-scalloped braced seems to be forgotten by many people. Mainly, it SOUNDS BETTER. At least with dreadnoughts, the unfocused boom on the bottom end sounds like enhanced bass, when you are hanging over the thing on your couch.

    Think of all the straight braced (non scalloped), non forward shifted D-28's that have been recorded over the decades by the greats, over all musical styles.
