Peak Hp occurs at 560 @ 6800 rpm. At 7200 rpm hp is 530. At 6400 rpm hp. is 530. Given this scenario along with where peak torque occurs one would work with the converter company to determine what converter would be used so that. Engine runs up to 7200 then shift. Engine rpm drops to 6400 on upshift.

Im headed back out to the strip in my nova,the last outing was not bad but not great. I did have a big issue trying to hook up thus the 2.3-2.4 60 foot times I did manage a 13.40 @ 108mph really nursing it off the line. Now I do have slicks to run and I am wondering what else I can do to help...
