April 2012 – Oakshade Raceway

Oakshade Raceway officially kicked off the 2012 racing season with a 200-Lap Enduro race on Sunday afternoon after the Bill Reckner Memorial season opener was cancelled due to inclement weather the night before. Shawn Stamm from Archbold, Ohio marched out to the early lead and maintained the point for most of the first 100 laps.

Posted on Sat, Jul 21, 2012 Devin Shiels from Adrian, Michigan, picked up his first UMP Late Model feature victory at Oakshade Raceway on Saturday night while Jeff Foks collected the Hot Rod Welding Bomber A Main win. Hot Rod Welding added an extra $100 to the pay out for the winners of each of the UMP Bomber feature events.

The 2012 racing season came to a close this weekend at Oakshade Raceway with Season Championship Night on Saturday and a 250-lap Enduro on Sunday. Jeff Foks was the big winner on Saturday night with a Bomber Spectacular win which sealed up the Oakshade Bomber Championship and Mark Henderson dominated Sunday afternoon’s Enduro race.
