    A trick on old cars with pitted floors or something you will be daily driving and fishing and hunting from and subjecting the floor to water. I slather on Fiberglass resin with hardener mixed in of course all over the floor and let it cure before any carpet or pad gets placed down. No more rotting out the floors from the inside.
