Optix 6.0 Path Tracing demo. Since the release of Optix 6.0 a few weeks ago I have been playing a bit with the new RTX support. Here's a demo that should run on Maxwell, Pascal and Turing, which allows a direct comparison of the ray tracing performance of these platforms. Spoiler: Turing fares well.

Hello, guys! After several years learning from this site I'm glad to give my own contribute to the community.I'm here to present the work I've done for my master which is a rendering engine called Serenity that combines GPU lighting and ray traced lighting in order to approximate global illumination

How to build a BVH – part 6: All Together Now – Jacco’s Blog

    https://jacco.ompf2.com/2022/05/13/how-to-build-a-bvh-part-6-all-together-now/
In this series we explore the wonderful world of the bounding volume hierarchy: the mysterious data structure that enables real-time ray tracing on recent GPUs, in complex, animated scenes. Despite the broad adoption of ray tracing in games, in-depth understanding of the underlying technology seems to be reserved to a select few.

Wavefront Path Tracing – Jacco’s Blog

Introduction. In this article we will explore an important concept used in the recently published Lighthouse 2 platform. Wavefront path tracing, as it is called by NVIDIA’s Laine, Karras and Aila, or streaming path tracing, as it was originally named by Van Antwerpen in his master’s thesis, plays a crucial role in the development of efficient GPU path tracers, and potentially, …
