OMS Racing Cars. Following a break from competition and a full rebuild of his OMS 2000M Jim Milliner was at his first event last weekend in Australia. Jim finished 1st in class for Round 1 and 3rd fastest overall behind the Turbo Rotary powered OMS 28 of Warwick Hutchinson and the Turbo charged Kawasaki powered Van Dieman of Brett Bull.

Lee Griffiths went under Paul Haimes 2.0L Prescott record twice on Sunday in his 1660cc OMS 28. Paul set the record at 38.61s in 2002 with a Vauxhall powered Dallara. Lee’s fastest run 38.32s was beaten by Jonathan Varley in his 2.0L V8 Predator with a best class run time of 38.13s Here’s the in car footage from Lee.

A really nice OMS CF04 carbon fibre tub single seater race car with Yamaha R1 (998cc) engine with factory kit ECU. The car is mechanically A1 and has had only two owners from new. It has not had a lot of use being stored for several years before the present owner bought it in 2020 and has used it in the 2020 and 2021 hillclimb seasons.
