Oregon High School Ski Racing in a Nutshell Alpine skiing is fun. Competing in slalom and giant slalom races as a group of high school friends adds to the fun. The Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association (OISRA) organizes slalom and giant slalom races on six or seven Saturdays in January and February.
