June 10-12, 2022 Eastern Oregon Livestock Show began in 1908 and bills itself as the oldest show in the Northwest. The Oregon Racing Commission has scheduled a Special Meeting for noon Tuesday, May 3, 2022 , to review and possibly approve the Southern Oregon Horse Racing Association (SOHRA) application Forms A, B, and C pertaining to a potential fair meet at Grants Pass Downs. The meeting will be held via Zoom videoconference.

The Oregon State Fair also encourages all fairgoers who have not yet received a vaccination to do so. Fair guests can take advantage of our Vaccine Clinic run by Salem Health in Cascade Hall, Weekdays 12pm-8pm and Weekends 10am-6pm. Those who do will get a free ticket to return to the Fair again in 2021, or in 2022!
