The easiest way I found is to pass him at the shortcut on the first lap. From the start until the shortcut just try and keep up with him somewhat and try not to be behind him cause of the bombs. Start boosting in the last lap, close the distance, keep your item ready and snipe him close to the finish line. This is a blatant lie. The difference between difficulty is that AI will use powerslide and sacred fire less / more frequently making it more of a challenge. But there is no algorythm of addaptation lol.

Handling characters like Polar and Pura start to shine on this course in particular. The big issue with pinstripe that really makes itself apparant, is that bosses can turbo at the start, and start using their weapons immediately instead of after the first weapon crate. Pinstripe in particular makes these changes bs.
