In the world of motorsports commentary, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of affection for Pocono Raceway. The complaints are numerous. Boring, single-file racing and not enough passing. No gear shifting. Too big of a track. 500 miles is too long. Can’t see what’s going on near the tunnel turn from the seats. Too long to get out of the parking lot.

Review of Pocono Raceway Reviewed August 1, 2015 Attended NASCAR race events on Friday, July 31st. Boring facility with little to no fan activities. Beware of new policy not allowing ticket holders to re-enter racetrack. We were told that if we left to return to our car, we had to purchase another ticket to re-enter track.

Pocono raceway would be considered my home track and I love camping infield every year, but it is a boring race. My friends and I have agreed that with this size track and the longest straightaway in the sport, Pocono could really be an awesome track if the degrees of the turns were modified.
