I never see anyone in r/simracing Talk about race07 at all why is that ? The game seems cool to me, good physics, the multiplayer is surprisingly Good, and on top of that its dirt cheap. So why don't you guys talk about it what don't you like about it ? also if you dont have the game i would check it out its only $3 on steam atm

For the most part Race 07 is the game and everything else is an expansion. GTR and GTR2 GTR Evolution and GT Legends are their own games FYI. And yes it is very confusing. Glad to see you joined the world of simracing. You won't regret the purchase. I got into simracing a year ago, got race injection and have over 150 hours in it a year later.

The rFactor engine games like GTR2 and Race 07 all play well, but not like new sims. AC's cars are extremely particular. Each one acts very differently. With those old sims, it always seemed like some cars were too similar. Even drastically different cars had similar FFB and cornering, just with more or less grip.

DeepMidWicket. · 6 yr. ago. I found a way to do it but I can ony alter the downloaded mod cars as the standard race07 code wont open in notepad. Anyway in the car you want to mod open up the engine file in notepad it should have a list of power for a given rpm. Like 2000:121 it'll work up in ascending order to give a gradual power curve.
