The idle circuit is similar to a holley so it is easy to alter as well but if you want a simple inexpensive carb check out JET carbs. They offer a converted carb again dirt cheap about $200 with the mod's done. Marine 2G carbs offer several options that are much better then over the road car/truck carbs for a performance project.
