The Chevettes were slugs in the hands of normal drivers, but delivery drivers are not normal drivers. Our cars were also all automatics. The weak point in the drive line was the rear end. This was cured by changing the differential covers to the 1981 issue with a magnet glued on the inside. They were definitely disposable cars.
