Thanks to generous donation of 13 AED’s from the non-profit group Racing Hearts that is based in Palo Alto, our officers will be prepared to render aid in the event they encounter a person in cardiac crisis. Although our officers had previously received training on the operations of AED’s, they would only have been able to use them if one was readily available.
