A kennel owner (or operator) agrees to supply a certain number of racing greyhounds to the racetrack and enters into a contract which sets out the terms, conditions and responsibilities of each party (TRC Rule Sec. 309.351 ). In 1940, with the growth of Greyhound Racing, a Clubhouse was added to the Grandstand with improvements continuing through 1969. Hollywood Greyhound Track, as we know it today, opened on November 30th, 1974. The track has a seating capacity for over 4,000 fans and a total capacity of 25,000.
