I have a Schroth racing harness in my car with stock seats. Installs into factory hardware and you can use either the harness or the stock belt . I like it and It keeps you PLANTED in the seat . HOWEVER if you go to the track,aftermarket seats require aftermarket belts (4 point minimum). Also some seats have such large side bolsters that they interfere with the factory belts.
