It was a 250km foot-race through the Gobi Desert of China completed in 6 stages over seven days, from the 24th to 30th of April 2005. Competitors were required to be fully self-supported throughout the event, meaning they carried all their food, gear and clothing that they needed to survive while completing the 250 km course.
