Vapor pressure for avgas, he explains, often falls between just 5.5 and 7.1 psi; depending on the season and location, typical pump fuel for passenger cars can range from 5 to 15 psi. However, Santner adds that his company’s race products never deviate, always following the same formula. Zero Ethanol: Avgas doesn’t contain any ethanol.

If Avgas was tested under the same conditions as "mogas"or "autogas", it wouldn't have the octane rating it does. The test procedure is close to the MON test for autogas but with a much lower intake temperature. It DOES NOT have the same octane rating as 100 octane race gas. And it has a much lower REID VAPOR rating.
Anyone Running AvGas vs Race Fuel? - ThumperTalk

Advancing timing on your motor will definitely help with AV Gas and Race Gas due to its slow burn characteristics. On the other hand, be careful if your running commercial grade gasoline, more timing can cause detonation/preignition quit quickly. AV Gas does not go BAD faster. It is extremely consistent.
Running car on Avgas?? - Page 1 - General Gassing …

Used to run avgas in a 460ci '69 Mustang drag car. It ran 12.5-1 compression and N20. With 4 star and a methanol mix it ate pistons at an alarming rate. We switched to avgas and never even hurt a...
How Does 100ll Aviation Fuel Compare With Racing Gas?
https://www.cornerstonefbo.com/interesting-fact-about-aviation/how-does-100ll-aviation-fuel-compare-with-racing-gas.html
AvGas has a lower specific gravity than most racing gasolines. This means that if a racer tries AvGas and has not re-jetted, he can burn a piston because the air- fuel ratio is too lean and/or the engine detonated. To make a good comparison between two gasolines, the air- fuel mixtures must be the same. How much octane is 100LL?
Anybody run Avgas LL100? - Ford Muscle Cars Tech Forum

Avgas is less dense than most racing gasolines. Instead of weighing about 6.1 to 6.3 pounds per gallon like racing gasoline, it weighs 5.8 to 5.9 pounds per gallon. The racer must compensate for this by changing to richer (larger) jets in the carburetor when changing from racing gasoline to avgas. The other major difference is octane quality.
Tech Racing Gasoline vs. Avgas - Rockett Brand

AvGas is a good gasoline for low speed aircraft engines that run at 2700 to 2800 RPM at 10,000 feet or higher. This does not mean it is a good gasoline for racing engines operating at 8,000 to 10,000 RPM. AvGas is also illegal to use in anything except aircraft engines. Violations can carry a potential penalty of $25,000 per day of violation.

The trick to blending fuels — General Aviation News

This correlation works for avgas fuels made from alkylate. It may not work as well for other fuels. The aviation rich method and the research method have only a rough non-linear sort of relationship. Let’s do some calculations for our example. For mogas with a R+M/2 of 90, the motor rating will usually be four to five numbers lower or, say, 86.
