Ray Anton Racing - The Driver Ray Anton started as a "gofer" for John Fuller’s Viper Racing. He began autocrossing with Corvettes Limited of Connecticut (CLOC) in 1971 during his medical residency. By 1972, Anton was autocrossing with Bonnet and Boot Sports Club, Yankee Sports Car Club, as well as CLOC. He was the 1972 Class A Autocross Champion.

Ray Anton Racing - The Corvette David Kurtz first raced this 1969 B/P Corvette from 1969 to 1972. Kurtz, from Long Island, ran in both S.C.C.A. and IMSA races. In 1969, the car was noted as one of the first to use Firestone racing slicks. Ray Anton purchased the Corvette in 1972.
