Review: RB racing LSR 2-1

Review: RB racing LSR 2-1 After my ill fated wheelie debacle, I had to get some new pipes. My old ones were already gakked, so it was a good excuse anyway. If Id had the tools and the skill to do a good job, I'd rather have made my own, but lacking both, I kept checking around and found pretty much nothing I liked.

The LSR system dropped 15HP & 12TQ. After tuning the for the LSR and reducing the jets, the loss was 10HP & 8TQ. This was a very disappointing result. So after all the RB Racing bullshit, arrogance and just out right rudeness, it was not worth it. Their system might look good and sound good BUT it just does not perform.

Needless to say I took the red pill and ordered an LSR 1.75" 2:1 w 45 deg turn out, in Silver Ceramic for my 09 FLHTCU from RB in early February. (I am doing the SE Stage IV 103" kit and having the heads ported/flowed etc). True to form (based on what I have seen in this forum) it took about 10 weeks to receive my exhaust...

The gauges are dead accurate and are millisecond fast responding which makes it very simple to interpret or remember, even at a glace, while you are dodging cars watching for cops. Anyone who tells you optimizing tuning is easy is full of shit. Engineers at Ford say they spend two years just perfecting tip-in or initial throttle openings.

28 2 A customer ordered a RB racing 2-1 LSR exhaust system 2 months ago. Attempted to put it on the bike today and tune it, but cannot get the rear wide band sensor into the rear pipe because of clearance. Ive tried everything even removed the pipe again, inst sensor and tried to install w/ no luck.

I ordered R&B 2-1 2'' Spyder LSR II for my 2013 fxsbse CVO Breakout.I was impressed with their web site but concerned with what appears to be an arrogant, customer service attitude. The pipes will not go past the rear axle and then turn down. (I wanted them to turn out)My bike is at the dealer waiting for the pipes.

Power is up across the board, it feels like I'm going to fall off the back! I don't have the tech to make an audio sound, but it has a real deep "big block" type of sound and tone. Surprising quiet at cruise, but open it up and it's like thunder. I am 100% satisfied. M mudslinger Banned Dec 23, 2007 #10

As always, the fit and finish is perfect and with 6,000 miles on the bike now the chrome is still flawless and the system looks better than the original or the other aftermarket exhausts out there. I would recommend your LSR 2-1 Black Hole system to anyone who wants high performance and a very good quality sound without being obnoxiously loud.

I have run both and the RB pipe is far better quality. the exhaust gaskets alone are better then any other i have seen. They are billet aluminum and provide a great seal with no distortion. I ran an RB LSR for about 50,000 miles on my last bike. The only draw back is the long wait getting to your door. In my opinion it is worth it.
