Any way, on out Trade Me (like e-bay) here in New Zealand there was a "Ricor Racing" rear shock for sale from a guys DR 650 which had only done 5000km and still looks in mint condition. He sold the bike and is selling the suspension seperately for $300 NZ which is about $220 US.... Thats a good price I thought. So questions:

Especially when riding on corrugated dirt roads it's a massive improvement over the stock shock. The rear end doesn't drift about all over the road & the seat doesn't slap you on the arse. On sealed roads, you can still feel the vibration from the tyres, though that numbing effect is greatly reduced. But that my be as a result of my Sargent seat.
