WELCOME TO RIM NORDIC
Rim Nordic Ski Area, located in San Bernardino Mountains, is the only cross country ski area in Southern Calif. with machined groomed trails. Open daily when winter arrives from 9-4pm. We are proud to offer mountain bike riding on the Rim Nordic Bike Park trail system in the summer on weekends only starting Memorial Day through Labor Day, including some great single track trails.

The Rim Nordic Trails are located in the San Bernardino Mountains accross the street from Snow Valley Mountain Resort, about 20 minutes drive from Big Bear. This year, not only will the series include XC and Super D events, but also Downhill racing. Rim Nordic will be hosting the Calif. State DH Championship series, with the finals on Sept. 15th.

Cross-country racing or also known as mountain bike racing (or XCO), has been an event in the Summer Olympics since 1996. The XCO race track consists of uphill climbs, descents, single tracks, and road sections. The XCO lap length is usually 4 to 5 kilometers long. The latest event during Tokyo 2020 (held in 2021) was 4.1 miles.
