The rebound dampening works really well and the shock noticeably stiffened up the rear, which makes it for great for steep climbing with no pogo. An improvement overall from the OEM Stratos XC Pro (5 flaming chile's overall). My only gripe is that when the trail is dry and dusty, the seal squeaks. Wipe it clean and it stops.
