The only penalty you can get in Q that affects your race is if you're disqualified for unsafe driving (i.e. driving backwards on the track). That will disqualify you from the race as well. Drive-Through Penalties are now in place! The Incident Count Black Flag penalty has been changed from a Stop-and-Go to a Drive-Through penalty. Drive-Through Penalties may also be applied manually by an Admin. The admin command to issue a Drive-Through Penalty is done via the usual, "!black" command, but is appended with a "D" parameter.

So, crew chief says penalty requires "stop and go", so I pit. About 15 seconds later I go, but the blag flag remains. So stopping isn't enough. I read in a 4 year old post that one has to turn off the engine. Is that the only way to serve the penalty? EDIT: Answered, don't stop, just drive thru the pit. 8 comments 100% Upvoted

If you jump the start, you get an automatic stop and go penalty. If you fail to serve the penalty within a certain amount of time, 3 laps, I believe, you get disqualified rfrom that race. Not Banned! That's it. They will never suspend your account simply for jumping the start. Perhaps if you do it every race, that I do not know.
