I've had good luck with my other style summit carb and saw these and figured give it a shot. Ran it on a mostly stock 454 on the dyno and was a bit rich but most are calibrated that way. It ran good otherwise and made a few more hp then the other style summit carb and edelbrock carb. Its nice having the screw in air bleeds and rear jets

It's hard to beat for the price what you get with this carb . I caught mine on sale for $235. I just happened to have received Summit's latest catalog and they're on sale again until Feb.29 for $234.95 for the 600 CFM vac sec with electric choke. They also have 750 CFM carbs in both mechanical and vacuum secondary on sale for a bit more.
