I'd want a balancing charger, the TC1030 does not have a builtin balancer which makes lipo balance charging more complicated with the extra separate balancer and the assoicated wiring. You would still need a balancer to go with this and the power supply fo run the charger. I use mine for NiMh and have other balancing type chargers I use for lipos.
