Things I've heard and researched is that Tein Flex Z are softer than BC BR, Teins are more reliable (e.g. rust resistant, made in japan,...), BC BR is stiffer, and BC is more performance oriented (better response, etc.).

Please provide some current feedback on the BC racing coilers vs Tein street flex. The price difference is 300 dollars, Teins being more. I am looking for quality and comfort along with being low enough to clear a wheel gap with my 17 inch 05-06 type s rims. This is my DD and will remain so for awhile. A lot of the reviews that are posted are of people who just put them on.

Opinion on BC Racing BR Coilover Kit vs Tein Flex Z : ft86

I don't track the car (yet), so I'm looking for a reasonably comfortable daily road setup that gives me some performance in the canyon twisties on the weekend. I've narrowed down my choices to the BC Racing BR or the Tein Flex Z kits. Both are around the same price (about $1300CAD), both offer a lot of adjustment, and come with front camber ...
tein flex A, Z, or BC racing? : ft86

hey guys, currently torn between a few options. been looking through forums all week. Budget is under $2000 CAD and have been considering the Tein Flex A as the car is a daily and don’t want anything harsher than stock. From what i’ve seen, Tein Flex Z go just as or basically as low as the BC racing BRs, however I don’t know if this is ...

Tein flex z was the solution for the Honda. I probably should have left it stock or just went with shocks/springs in retrospect. Haven't had first hand experience with D2. The "racing"/Chinese or Taiwan low priced coilovers seem to be very similar and tend to be stiff and oriented to the how low can you go and drift scenes.
Tein or BC Racing??? - Nissan 370Z Forum

Location: Costa Mesa, California. Posts: 216. Drives: 2009 370Z. Rep Power: 18. If you're looking for the most comfortable ride I would not recommend Tein or BC. They are good budget coilovers that will lower your car and not break your back but I would not call them comfortable by any means.

It depends on how long you plan on keeping the car, I went with BC because they offer all the parts to rebuild them your self. If you blow a shock you can order 1 shock if you need to strip a adjuster you can order it. With tein you would have to pull all the suspension slap on your stock or another suspension and have a shop re build it.
