When you connect your wheel, on Win7 go to Start-> Devices and Printers -> right click on your wheel -> Game controller settings -> Properties. It is a totally different and better wheel when the high sensitivity is turned on. You can map the buttons in GT5 and on the wheel itself. You can basically use this wheel in any racer. I had problems with this, but re-install and restart after installing drivers fixed it. Then in settings, if it is at 50% throttle, I press throttle and it goes to 100%, and when I release throttle it goes to 0%.
